The Chamberlain Forum is extending the offer of FREE training sessions to a limited number of community groups and organisations at a venue of your choice.
Sessions are on offer (on a first-come basis) up to mid-December.
Training will cover the following topics:
Balsall Heath is an inner city neighbourhood between Highgate and Moseley centred around the A435, two miles south of Birmingham City Centre. It was once infamous as a red light neighbourhood with an estimated £10m a year sex industry – where pimps and dealers traded openly and kerbcrawlers pestered local women. Now Balsall Heath is a place politicians on all sides point to as a model of the kind of neighbourhood revival they want to see elsewhere; aGuide Neighbourhood; and one of Birmingham’s best performing neighbourhoods in terms of LAA indicators for strong communities (see Chamberlain Forum article and NI4/5 graph).

Spaghetti Gazetti: Playing Field Project Secures Award
On Friday 18th March, Be Birmingham will be hosting a summit on the Big Society. In the afternoon, Resident University will be following up some the questions, issues and themes raised at the summit. In particular, how residents and public services can coproduce the Big Society together.
Those attending the summit are all welcome to join this event which is organised by Chamberlain Forum.
